Would you believe that this photo was taken with my Advanced Graduate Students who came for a last minute Pack Run the day before we left Maryland? The GSD and his owner started training with me as Drago was an aggressive 7-month old GSD. The bully looking dog? That is Benny, a street rescue dog that was also highly aggressive. Benny's owner, Chris, brought him and stayed to become on of my BEST students and an Assistant. The young looking smaller yellow Lab between Boaz and Redd? That student is Chris's son, at that time a 14-year old boy that needed to learn responsibility. So, that boy, Leon, became my student and choose his breed, Lab, and went to Minnesota with his mom to do litter temperament testing on a Lab Litter from Cashman Kennels. That puppy is Ren and Leon DID ALL OF HER TRAINING and Leon, also, became one of my Assistants as he graduated from Mannerly Puppy, FOUNDATION, Tech Savvy, and Retrieve Courses.
So, this was a bittersweet day and a bittersweet photo. Benny is now gone-:( And I miss my students as much as I miss their dogs. And their dogs miss my Pack and our beloved Pack Runs.
