A place to learn how to effectively and fairly communicate with your new puppy. The weeks between 10 weeks old and 16 weeks old are microscopic window of time to layer in a obedience foundation
Hey Roxanne, we did some walking, recall, and sit today out on the town. Please let me know if I should recall him more often, how the sit looks, and anything else you notice from the video. Thanks!
On the 'Sit', the left thumb is closest to your left pant seam. If you look at the 2nd Sit you did with Hobbes, your left thumb is on Hobbes left side, that is bass akwards (an official dog training term-:). And on the "Let's Go" ALWAYS step off on your LEFT foot. We are training the young dog to, literally, 'read my feet'. LEFT foot moving = 'Go", by default right foot moving = "Wait" or in time, "Stay".
