Hi Roxanne! Meet Hobbes (pronounced HO-bess). He's 4 months (16 wks) and super chill pup. We are working on QT, Touch, and Sit, but I still don't quite get Walk. He walks really well next to me right now, so do I only use the ck cord and not a leash? I feel like Hobbes is ready to learn to only walk on the left side, as he walks really well next to me now. My two daughters are excited to train too! :)
The 'Walk' is used to teach the dog your body language and to learn to 'read' you. It is also used to teach the young dog to respond to the 'pressure' of the line and to return to you, always.
