Welcome to The Mannerly Puppy Course. Hobbies is a mixed breed, a BernieDoodle. I have trained many doodle mixed dogs including two BernieDoodles when I lived in Maryland.
Temperament wise, these BernieDoodles are usually soft dogs, meaning willing to please you so training is easy. What kind of temperament is Hobbes, Jill?

Because of Hobbes age, we are doing this course at lightening speed. You and Hobbes will be focusing on doing Quiet Time, the Sit, the Walk, and Touch immediately.
